And I love the fact that until now I am able to do that. Gabby only falls to sleep in my arms, several times she just stops to cry in my arms, and if I have to hold her for days in a row I will. With all my love. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1774448005776959113.post-3989723202677885302012-05-15T14:00:03.645-07:002012-05-15T14:00:03.645-07:00I understand everything you are saying. I stumbled...I understand everything you are saying. I stumbled upon attachment parenting only a couple months ago and I realized that I was one of those moms. I was one of those moms before I even knew it! But I am proud. I still swaddle river, and I get up with her countless times at night. I will not use the cry it out method. I am 26 years old and believe it or not my mother still has me on the cry it out method. I wont let my daughter ever feel that kind of lonliness. It works for some people, not for me. I breastfeed a 17 month old much more then whats "recommended" ( only at bedtime). But I have a bond with her that is undescibable. And I wont be ashamed of any of it.Melane Gnoreply@blogger.com
